SPIRITED

ˈSPIRIDƏD/
ADJECTIVE
FULL OF ENERGY, ENTHUSIASM, AND DETERMINATION.

The paradox of a spider’s web is notable. They sparkle like a chain of delicate diamonds on a frosty morning, and although thin as silk, their tensile strength is greater than the same weight of steel. Because of this, they easily withstand the elements that threaten them. Unfettered, the tireless and patient spider remains hanging in seeming peril, yet survives another day to rebuild.

With a limitless work ethic, its fortitude and ability to toil repeatedly is inspiring. That spiders can be intimidating to humans 7,000,000 times their size is puzzling as they wield substantial, but unknowing power.

The web’s intricate elegance provides both food and shelter for the underappreciated arachnid, making it a worthy subject to capture (figuratively).
